CRB is a repository of all the creative things that float through my mind about the RPG Pathfinder. Two major features are random character generation and building characters based on the god they worship. Anything that seems like it adds to the creative aspects of the game will pop up from time to time, including location descriptions, adventure ideas and even short stories. CRB won't just be my own creativity, it will open the floor to anyone who has an idea sparked by what I present to you.

Random Roll 76 - The Randomness

In a colony of the Impossible Kingdoms there lived a grippli. But what is this grippli’s story? This week’s random rolls show us one of the frogmen blessed at birth, falling in with criminals, and then finding a dedication to the minor deity of suicide and drowning. But how do these things tie together? We’ll take these stats and tidbits and build a character for you to see Friday.

Gender: Female
Race:Grippli
Nationality:Jalmeray
Age:16
Height:1’ 10”
Weight:27lbs
Alignment:Neutral

Str: 13
Dex: 10
Con:  11
Int: 12
Wis: 18
Cha: 12

Homeland: Non-Grippli Town or Village
Parents: Both of your parents are alive.
Siblings: You have 4 biological siblings.
- biological older brother
- biological twin brother
- biological older sister
- biological younger brother
Circumstance of Birth: [Blessed Birth] When you were born, you were blessed by a being of great power such as an angel, azata, or genie. This blessing has protected you from certain peril or marked you as special to some deity.
Parent's Profession: Tradespeople
Major Childhood Event: [Fell in with a Bad Crowd] In your youth, you ran with a brutal, evil, or sadistic crowd. You might have belonged to a gang, a thieves' guild, or some other nefarious organization. It was easy to cave in to pressure and do whatever they told you to do, and your outlook is colored by moral ambiguity.

Influential Associate:[The Criminal] One of your associates committed crimes regularly. He regaled you with many stories of daring robberies and break-ins—and perhaps even murders. You learned most of what you know of the criminal element from him, and he trusted you as a friend.

Conflict: [Negligence] You caused someone else to suffer by your own inaction, disregard, or excessive recklessness.
Conflict Subject: Leader.
Conflict Motivation: Hatred or Malice.
Conflict Resolution: [You Enjoyed It] Those who cling to petty morals have no understanding of what true freedom and power is. The fact is, you enjoyed your part in the conflict and would do it all over again if the opportunity presented itself. Many people know of your misdeed, and they also realize your complete lack of remorse.
Deity/Religious Philosophy:Naderi

Romantic Relationship(s): [Several Inconsequential Relationships] You have had many lovers but no long-lasting, meaningful relationships.
Drawback: [Loyalty] You value loyalty over all things. You treasure the friends, associates, and lovers you have earned throughout the years, and when someone breaks your trust or betrays you in some way, you become utterly unhinged.

In the comments please tell us what character you would make with these disparate pieces information? What class would this gripplinaturally gravitate towards? Why was he chosen blessed? Who were the bad crowd he fell in with? How did he end up in a non-grippli town? When did he choose to follow the Empyreal Lord Naderi? And don’t forget to stay tuned Friday when my background hits the CRB.
